Karri Simmons is the founder of Top College USA, where she develops academic programs, educational partnerships, and student initiatives with schools, universities, researchers, nonprofits, and private education organizations.
Her work often begins with something an organization has already built: a research program, conference, academic course, student project, or mentorship experience. She helps shape the structure around it, from curriculum and learning objectives to partnerships, communications, and the work required to bring a new program to students.
Through Top College USA, she works with UC Santa Barbara Professional and Continuing Education (UCSB PaCE) to develop continuing-education opportunities for high school students. Students in approved programs can earn UCSB PaCE Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successful completion.
Before founding Top College USA, Karri owned Nice Design, where she worked with national brands, educational organizations, museums, and nonprofits. Earlier, she was a senior product manager at Johnson & Johnson, developing national programs, partnerships, research, and communications for major medical product lines.
That combination of program development, partnerships, and student work now sits at the center of Top College USA.
