Students will be introduced to case studies that highlight groundbreaking innovations, focusing on emerging processes, products, and organizational structures. In addition to classroom learning, the course incorporates a student research project where participants will select a specific enzyme-related application to investigate. They will conduct research, analyze data, and evaluate the impact of enzyme technologies in their chosen field. This project will culminate in a presentation where students showcase their findings, demonstrating how enzymes are driving sustainability and innovation across industries. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the ways enzymes are changing industries and will have gained practical experience in researching and presenting on enzyme-driven innovations. This hands-on approach will prepare them to contribute to the ongoing evolution of these critical fields.
